Applications

Where kadayif earns its place.

Kadayif adds a fine, crisp texture that holds its own in chocolate, pastry and desserts. Each application below links to the products and formats that suit it.

01

Chocolate & confectionery

Roasted kadayif is the crunchy component in filled bars, pralines and spreads. It is usually bound with a fat-based filling such as pistachio, hazelnut or chocolate cream.

  • Filled bars and tablets
  • Pralines and bonbons
  • Spreads and creams with a crunch
  • Coated and enrobed snacks
Practical note

How long the strands stay crisp depends on your filling, its water activity and the coating. Run a shelf-life test on your own recipe before scaling up; we supply samples for that.

Practical note

Roasted kadayif is already crisp; add it after baking or protect it from moisture in the recipe.
