Is kadayif the same as kataifi?
Yes. Kadayif (Turkish: kadayıf) and kataifi (Greek) are two names for the same product: a wheat-flour dough spun into fine strands. You will also see kunafa or knafeh, which usually refers to the dessert made with it.
What is the difference between roasted and unroasted kadayif?
Roasted kadayif has been baked until golden and crisp, so you can use it as it is, for example in a chocolate filling or as a topping. Unroasted (white) kadayif is still soft and is baked after assembly, as in künefe.
Which packaging formats can I order?
Roasted kadayif is available in a 10 kg industrial carton and a 1 kg retail pack. Private label packs, also in other sizes, are possible on request; we confirm what applies to your order in the quotation.
Can I get samples before ordering?
Yes. Use the sample request form and tell us what you make and which product you want to test. We confirm the sample size, cost and shipping for your destination before we send anything.
What is the minimum order quantity?
It depends on the product, the format and whether you order a standard pack or a private label pack. We state the minimum quantity in every quotation rather than publishing one figure that does not fit most orders.
How long does delivery take?
Lead time depends on production planning, the format, the volume and your destination. The quotation states the expected lead time and the delivery terms (Incoterms) for your order.
Do you produce the kadayif yourselves?
No. The products are made by our producer partner in Istanbul. We are the sales and export company: we handle quotations, samples, documentation, export and quality follow-up, and invoice EU customers through our Dutch company.
Which documents can you provide?
Our BRCGS Agents and Brokers certificate is available on request. Tell us which specifications and documents your quality team needs, and we confirm what is available for your product with the quotation.
Does kadayif contain allergens?
Kadayif is made from wheat flour, so it contains gluten. Ask us for the full allergen information of the product you are interested in, including cross-contact.
Do you ship outside Europe?
Yes. We export from Türkiye by truck, sea container or air freight. Tell us your destination and we include the delivery terms in the quotation.
